With global ambitions and limited funding, STWR needed a brand that could readily communicate with a diverse range of audiences including government, journalists, donors, potential supporters and the general public.
The simple statement ‘Sustainable economics to end global poverty’ clearly and succinctly communicates the organisation’s goal. A light and simple colour palette accompanied by a bright blue highlight colour was fed through a full range of communication materials based on the new brand — from banners, leaflets and publications — through to advertising and the website. The year of the rebrand was STWR’s most progressive. As a result, funding from key donors broke records, resulting in a four-fold increase in total funding compared with the previous year.
